Respite Care
HARC's human services Respite Care is a program that provides short-term relief for primary caregivers of individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or other special needs. Respite care can take place in the home of the individual with disabilities or in a community setting. The goal of respite care is to provide caregivers with a break from their responsibilities and to support the overall well-being of both the caregiver and the person receiving care. HARC's respite care services may include personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and recreational activities for the individual with disabilities.
