Paid Family Caregiver:  Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) can find a rewarding position providing your family member with intellectual, developmental disabilities in their own home or in other community settings.  Assist with learning new skills to increase independence, personal mobility and hygienic care and respite when the primary caregiver needs a break to enjoy some personal time.  There are training requirements that we can assist with.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Direct Support Professional: (DSPs) Earn extra income, while working as a Direct Support Professional with PLAY DAYZ, our Saturday Activity Respite Program. You will accompany individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities during a day of fun on an engaging activity outing. This position is on Saturday only. There are training requirements that we can assist with.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Volunteer opportunities:  Join our volunteer team.  Help when convenient for you.

 

• Work remotely as a Virtual Volunteer providing admin support for HARC Human Services. 

• Join us as we accompany individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities for “Play Dayz”, our Saturday activities outing.  As a Play Dayz volunteer, you will provide direct support during a Saturday outing for our members. This position is on Saturday only.  There are training requirements that we can assist with.

 

 

Job & Volunteer requirements:

 

• 18 years old

• 2 form of ID

• Able to pass background check

• Able to obtain Level one Fingerprint Card

• Must be a US Citizen, or proof able to work in the US

• Driver’s license, proof of current registration and insurance (if transporting)

• 1st Aid & CPR certified

• Article 9 certified

• Other “job specific” training when needed
